Michael J. Cammarano Sr.
Michael J. Cammarano Sr. was born in Reading, PA, attended the Catholic school system and graduated from Reading Central Catholic High School. He then graduated from Millersville University with a B.A. in sociology. After receiving his law degree from Temple University he began to practice as an associate in the office of Emmanuel H. Dimitriou and to his own private practice. The private practice included civil litigation, personal injury, divorce, estates, wills, driver's license matters, liquor license cases as well as criminal cases of all types. During his association, and later partnership with Mr. Dimitriou, he had the opportunity to try numerous high profile cases (two of which have become the subject of books) in Berks and most counties in eastern Pennsylvania, as well as Federal Cases in the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the Western District of Kentucky and the Northern district of Ohio. During this period he did virtually all the Appellate work and met with considerable success, having obtained favorable rulings in four first degree murder cases. The appellate work included appearances before the Pennsylvania Superior Court, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals and filings in the United States Supreme Court.
